What is the d.velop Document Connector?

No more manual „printing and filing“. The d.velop Document Connector is the module that builds the bridge between your business processes in Business Central and your DMS.

As soon as a document is generated in Business Central - be it an invoice, credit note or order confirmation - the connector takes over. It connects directly to the d.velop Base App and ensures that every document ends up in the right place in the d.velop DMS in an audit-proof and automated manner. This leaves your head free for the essentials and your accounting is „audit-ready“ at all times.

Automated document export

As soon as a document is posted or created, the module recognizes this and triggers the archiving process in the background.

Individual document control

Use the checkbox in the setup to select which document types (e.g. invoices, reminders, quotes) should be transferred automatically.

Queue management

Each document is stored as a job in the Base app's upload queue. This guarantees that no document is lost in the event of connection errors.

Status tracking in real time

Always keep an eye on whether a document has already been successfully archived or is still in the queue in Business Central.
